The second Arabic recipe is Elmqiret this recipe also is famous in Arabic cuisines exactly in Algerian cuisine this recipe is celebrated we choose to give it for you with Elaawama recipe with their ingredients and preparation methods. So let's go to the ingredients and methods of preparation for each one.




Ingredients of Elaawama:


2 cups of flour

A tablespoon of cornstarch

Salt

A teaspoon of vanilla

1 worm + 1/4 cup of lukewarm water

 

The preparation method of Elaawama recipe

 

In a bowl, mix the ingredients then add the water gradually until you obtain a soft dough. Let stand 15 minutes until fermentation.

 

Degas the dough using a spoon then let ferment a second time for 15 minutes.

 

With a pastry bag and scissors shape balls by pouring them into the hot oil. Fry and drain then fry a second time sprinkle with honey.

Ingredients of Mqiret 


 -3 cups of medium semolina

 -a cup of oil

 -Salt

 -Rosewater

  - date paste

   - Honey.


The method of preparation Mqiret recipe :



In a bowl, put the semolina, the sole, and the oil. Mix well and add water to scoop up the paste.


On a cling film, put a sausage of the dough then the date stuffing and close the sausage. It must be fine. Cut into diamonds.


Fry the mqiret in hot oil until cooked and golden. Drizzle with honey just after removing it from the pan.
